Protect professional secrecy at every step

Contracts, formal notices, exhibits, notarial acts: every document you exchange is covered by professional secrecy. Yet ordinary email, USB drives, and generic portals offer no guarantee of confidentiality or traceability. Secure Exchanges applies end-to-end encryption to every exchange, so that no one, not even our team, can access the content of your communications.

The platform integrates with your existing practice management tools to automate filing, document collection, and signatures, without changing the way you work.

Confidential delivery

Send contracts, deeds, and formal notices in a few clicks. Your clients receive a secure link with no account to create and nothing to install.

Streamlined collection

Receive supporting documents, evidence, and KYC forms directly from your clients, with full chain-of-custody traceability.

Automatic archiving

Every exchange is automatically filed by client matter. No more manual filing and no risk of lost documents.

Send your documents with full confidentiality

Your documents are protected from the moment you click "Send" until your client opens them. No one else can access them, not even Secure Exchanges. Your client receives a secure link with no account to create and nothing to install.

Send contracts, notarial acts, powers of attorney, and wills to your clients. The document is protected end-to-end and only the intended recipient can read it.

Send exhibits, documentary evidence, and memoranda to colleagues or the courts, knowing that no one else can access them in transit.

Share large document folders during mergers, acquisitions, or due diligence reviews. Send up to 25 GB in a single transfer, without resorting to USB drives or unsecured cloud services.

Share documents with forensic accountants, appraisers, or mediators while preserving attorney-client privilege. Experts access the files without creating an account.

Communicate with your clients regardless of their location. They receive a simple secure link with nothing to install on their end.

Receive your clients' documents securely

Ask your clients, witnesses, or third parties to send you documents securely. You keep a complete record of who sent what and when. They don't need a Secure Exchanges account.

Receive IDs, bank statements, property deeds, and other personal documents from your clients. They simply click a link to send them to you securely.

Receive documents from adverse parties or witnesses in litigation. Every transmission is timestamped and traceable to build a reliable proof of receipt.

Collect mandate forms, representation authorizations, and identification documents from new clients, directly through a protected channel.

Receive sworn statements, affidavits, and written testimony securely as part of your legal proceedings.

Your exchanges are archived and searchable at all times

All your confidential exchanges are automatically filed by client matter. You can find any document or proof of delivery in seconds, even years later. No one else can access them.

Every exchange is automatically linked to the right client matter. No more manual filing or searching through emails.

You know exactly when a document was sent, opened, and downloaded. This traceability lets you prove your diligence with a single click.

Your documents remain unreadable to anyone who doesn't hold the key, including the Secure Exchanges team. Even if servers are seized, your files stay protected.

Connect Secure Exchanges to your existing tools (SharePoint, OneDrive, practice management software) so documents are automatically filed in your systems.

Get your documents signed remotely, with full legal standing

Obtain digital signatures with worldwide legal recognition. Each signature is tamper-proof and the signed document cannot be altered after the fact. Unlike other solutions, Secure Exchanges never has access to the content of your documents.

Get mandates, fee agreements, and inter-party conventions signed remotely. The signature is legally recognized worldwide.

Sign notarial acts digitally, in compliance with the Quebec Notary Signature Regulation. The signature meets the standards required by the Chambre des notaires.

Get confidentiality agreements, settlement protocols, and memoranda of understanding signed by multiple parties, each in turn, with no in-person meeting required.

Each signature includes a unique digital fingerprint that guarantees the document has not been altered. This proof of integrity is admissible in court.

Unlike solutions such as DocuSign or Adobe Sign, Secure Exchanges never has access to the content of your documents. The file remains protected on our servers at all times.

SESAR Vault

Every client communication becomes admissible evidence

In a law firm, proof of communication is often as important as the document itself. The SESAR vault maintains a permanent record of every secure exchange: formal notices sent, evidence submitted by clients, mandate signatures. Even after files are deleted, the vault retains a record of who received what, when, and how many times. This information is automatically transmitted to your case management software.

Real-World Example

Attorney Beauchemin, a commercial litigation partner, sends a formal notice via Secure Exchanges in January. In September, the opposing party claims before the court they were never served. Attorney Beauchemin opens the SESAR vault and retrieves confirmation that the document was opened on January 15 at 9:17 AM and downloaded twice that same day. Her Clio case management software had automatically logged this proof in the litigation file that very day. The judge admits the evidence without challenge.
